Servers & Bartenders 

Responsibilities:
• Greet and welcome guest and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner 
• Take/serve orders and answer questions or make recommendations for other products 
• Present menus and help customers select food/beverages 
• Collaborate with other servers/bartenders and kitchen staff 
• Deal with customer complaints or problems with a positive attitude 
• Attend to customers upon entrance

Requirements: 
• Motivated, team player with a sense of urgency and customer service mentality 
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays 
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Knowledge and understanding of the food service/restaurant industry
• Friendly and thorough, assuring product quality and consistency High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Food service/banquet service/bartending experience required.

Banquet & Line Cooks


Banquet Cook Responsibilities:
• Prepare food items required for all banquet events (breakfasts, luncheons, dinners, and special events)
• Follow standard recipes while preparing assigned items for banquet service
• Assist in plating food items for service
• Handle leftovers as instructed
• Clean banquet preparation/serving equipment and assigned work area
• Consistently use safe and sanitary food handling practices


Line Cook Responsibilities: 
• Prepare food in accordance with club recipes and standards
• Follow standard recipes while preparing assigned items for service
• Assist in plating food items for service
• Handle leftovers as instructed
• Clean  preparation/serving equipment and assigned work area
• Consistently use safe and sanitary food handling practices


Requirements:
• Experience in a high volume production kitchen.  Any combination of education training or experience, Culinary or Apprenticeship preferred
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays REQUIRED
• Knowledge of all kitchen equipment
• Ability to execute food preparation with attention to detail; commitment to consistency is crucial
• Ability to meet high expectations in executing preparation
•Ability to stand and work continuously in confined spaces.

Event Services Intern

The Club is a member only club located atop Red Mountain and is presently hiring a paid ($12 per hour) Event Services Intern (30 hours/week). This position is anticipated to work from February 1 until May 31, 2018. This person will be responsible for assisting in the planning and coordinating of all aspects of private events and meeting functions held within The Club.  The successful candidate will foster relationships with Members who book events so as to maintain repeat business. This position will work closely with the Executive Chef and Banquet Chef when designing custom menus as well as the entire management team to communicate and prepare for upcoming events. 

Essential Job Functions:
 
• Assist and work closely with Events Director in the managing and overseeing of small and large events throughout the club to include:  problem solving, welcoming guests, directing event set up, communicating with staff
• Assist in meeting with member prior to function, making introductions, ensuring all arrangements are agreeable
• Assist in communicating with member, listening to the member’s needs, presenting ideas and solutions to their requirements
• Attend all required Food and Beverage Meetings, Employee Partner Meetings and Banquet Event Order Meetings
• Assist in responding to and try to fulfill any special event arrangements

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, communications, public relations or related field required OR working towards a hospitality or comparable degree
• Interest in events related profession required
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure remaining calm and professional at all times
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is REQUIRED
• Must be able to pass an pre-employment background check and drug screening
