The Club is among the most unique private clubs in the region and country. At this mod architectural jewel atop Red Mountain, you’re met with an extended hand and elite hospitality.
Some might call this connection southern hospitality, but at The Club we call it family.

Over the years, we have listened to our members and their ever-changing tastes and we have grown with them.
Since 1951, we have continued to grow and expand while staying in touch with what is most important to our membership.

In July 2018, The Club's main level underwent a major renovation which was completed and debuted in December 2018.
The core of The Club has been transformed to offer an inviting and modern space that remains true to mid-century modern nostalgia.

HISTORY

The Birmingham News called it a “slice of fairyland...a festive occasion, in perfect taste, with an overall-plush dignity.” The National Architect called the building “magnificent,” and Alabama, the News Magazine of the South, billed it as “an architectural jewel in a setting of natural grandeur.” Birmingham – and most other cities for that matter – had never seen anything like The Club when it opened in 1951.
